FAQ

  • 1. SHIFT+R Function

When editing documents in the software (reports and prescriptions), you may sometimes press ENTER to create a line break and notice that the spacing between lines is too large. To fix this, go back (using CONTROL+Z or Delete), then press SHIFT+ENTER simultaneously. This will insert a line break with minimal spacing between the last typed line and your cursor.

  • 2. I purchased a Psy4Vet subscription for my clinic — can multiple veterinarians use it?

The subscription corresponds to a single user account. Since Psy4Vet is an online application, you can use it on as many devices as you like. Therefore, multiple veterinarians in your clinic can use the software simultaneously. However, there will only be one user profile for the entire organization.

Please note that the database you build will be unique and shared across the clinic. If you leave the organization, it won’t be possible to separate clients based on which user created them. The database remains linked to the clinic’s main user account.

  • 3. CONTROL+SHIFT+R (COMMAND+SHIFT+R for Apple) Function

This function allows you to clear the application’s cache. In general, if the app experiences any issues (such as slow performance or display problems), feel free to use this feature — it will often resolve the problem.

  • 4. How can I get the invoice for my subscription?

You should have received the corresponding invoice at the email address used for your subscription, each time a billing cycle is completed.

If you can’t find the invoice in your inbox, you can generate a copy by visiting the Psy4Vet website. Log in, click on “My Account”, then go to “Invoices”.

  • 5. What is the double curly braces {{ }} function?

In the document templates provided in the Psy4Vet application during your first login, you’ll notice sentences enclosed in double curly braces {{ }}. This function was created to allow conditional display of certain phrases in the report.

    Here’s how it works:

    • The double braces must contain only one field of the type [[ ]].
    • If this field is left empty during your consultation, the entire sentence enclosed in the double braces will not appear in the final report.

    Practical example: In your report template, you write: {{Please schedule an appointment with my assistant before [[nextMeeting]].}}

    • If you’ve entered “01/01/2021” in the “Next Appointment” field under the Diagnosis tab, the sentence in the report will be: Please schedule an appointment with my assistant before 01/01/2021.
    • If you haven’t filled in that field, then nothing will be displayed in the report.
  • 6. Are updates included in the subscription?

Psy4Vet is an online application. When you subscribe, you’ll automatically receive all updates as they’re released.

This means you’ll always have access to the latest version of the app — and it’s fully included in your subscription plan.

  • 7. What happens to my data if I cancel my subscription?

Your personal user data is stored on secure servers. You can request a copy or ask for its deletion at any time — whether your subscription is active or not — simply by sending an email.

  • 8. I no longer wish to share my data — how can I stop?

If you wish to cancel data sharing at the end of your subscription, simply go to the “Subscription” tab, click on “Modify My Subscription,” and uncheck the box labeled “Share user data.” You’ll then be asked to pay the adjusted amount for the remaining subscription period without data sharing. From that date onward, any data collected will no longer be shared.

However, data collected prior to this request will remain available to Psy4Vet.

  • 11. I'm using Safari and can't log in — what should I do?

This error occurs when you try to log in using the Safari browser, whether on a tablet or computer. Due to multiple issues reported with Safari, Psy4Vet is not compatible with this browser, and the login feature has been disabled to prevent errors during use.
