A general practice veterinarian for over ten years, Sylvia Masson is now a leading figure in veterinary psychiatry. Graduated from the European College of Animal Welfare and Behavioural Medicine in 2020, she has dedicated her career to improving the understanding and management of behavioral disorders in companion animals.
Based in Voreppe, near Grenoble, Sylvia divides her time between specialized psychiatric consultations and the development of innovative solutions, such as Psy4Vet, a software designed to simplify and structure veterinary practice in the field of animal behavior.
With recognized expertise, she is also the founder of No Ledge, a company committed to spreading knowledge in behavioral medicine through training programs, research, scientific publications, and the YouTube channel Cynapse. Sylvia is the author of several books, including the technical manuals for veterinarians Veterinary Psychiatry of the Dog and Veterinary Psychiatry of the Cat, translated and published internationally.
Sylvia Masson is actively involved in the veterinary community as Chair of the Education Committee of ECAWBM, Vice-President of the GECAF board of AFVAC, and Secretary of ESVCE, where she contributes to the growth of this discipline she is passionate about.
